Scope Session
The First Stage of your project will involve a meeting, during this informal discussion we will find out more about your company, how you currently market your business and more importantly who your target audience will be.
Planning
The next stage will be carried out at our offices, our team will get together and discuss the outcome of the Envisioning meeting. Our team will then start to plan your website, how it should work, what elements should be utilised within the site. We will then meet with you to discuss the outcome of our internal brainstorming sessions, normally at this stage we would present to you Graphics that we feel would best portray the various aspects of your company. We would also discuss how we feel the navigation should work within the site, it would be at this point we would require any content that you have for the site, however, we can also produce this for if required.
Conceptual Design
This is where your website starts to take shape. All of the information we have gathered prior to this will be pulled together and put into various designs. You can then review the designs, once you have decided which design would be the best suited to your company our team of developers would start to code the site.
Production
It is at this stage that your website is built. You will be consulted following the build of each page, if at any time you require a change, this can be implemented with ease, our main aim is for our clients to be delighted with every aspect of their site. Once each page has met your approval the site will be pulled together - we will normally look to put this onto our test servers, this allows you, your colleagues, even your friends and family to visit the site and view it exactly as it would appear on the internet.
Search Engine Optimisation
Many Web Designers either ignore SEO, or make a very bad attempt at it. At Matt J Roberts, we see this aspect of web design as important as the website itself, if not more so! Without SEO, or with bad SEO, your customers will not find your website - in which case the money spent on having it designed and built is wasted. We will always aim to have your website on the first page of every search engine. this is achieved by the utilisation of keywords - these are words that best describe your business and the services/products that you supply. META-TAGS are also used for SEO, although, these are no longer as important as they once were, however they do still play a role in getting you to the top. As all of our website are hand coded, they can be made keyword rich, this makes them appear much higher with the search engines, and the higher you appear, the more visitors visit will click on your site!
